Playing sounds in MP3 format
Here's how to go about configuring your WMP for the MP3 format:
- Launch Windows Media Player.
- Click "Tools" and select "Options".
- Click the "File Types" tag. You should see numerous file types supported by WMP, including one titled "MP3 audio file (mp3)". If you couldn't play the sound files earlier, it is likely that the box for "MP3 audio file (mp3)" is unchecked. Check the box, click "OK", and you're done!
- Return to the sound files and try to play them again. If you still encounter problems, email me.
